Raj Ghat is big and beautiful park on the south of Red Fort, on the banks of river Yamuna. This park is point of attraction for most of the tourists. In this park there is a simple square platform made of black marble, is the spot where Father of the Nation `Mahatma Gandhi' was cremated following his assassination in 1948. Just to the north, is a Shanti Van, is a place where first Prime Minister of India `Jawaharlal Nehru' was cremated in 1964.
